Ultrasonic Flow Meter in SIS System

MEZOLEN ultrasonic flowmeter is widely used in the chemical industry. This time, it was used in the SIS renovation project of a residual oil hydrogenation unit in a chemical enterprise in Panjin. The MF7080EX... HT ultrasonic flowmeter was adopted and participated in the system interlocking control.

The process conditions are a diameter of DN100, carbon steel pipeline material, temperature of 120 ℃, applied in key parts of the device, and the measurement results are stable and reliable. This ultrasonic flowmeter has no movable parts, requires minimal maintenance, and can perform self calibration operations to adapt to various changing working conditions.

The core microprocessor provides patent protected digital signal encoding and related detection programs, automatic adjustment of changes, fluid properties, and dynamic configuration operation software to simplify programming.

The logic controller of SIS safety instrumented system usually improves the stability of system functions through redundant design and other methods. Therefore, in any situation where a chemical production plant may cause a safety situation, the logic controller can immediately make accurate judgments on the situation and quickly enter the operating state from the sleep state.
