In response to the technological advancements required by the oil and chemical industries, and to effectively promote the development and application of new technologies, materials, processes, and products for ultrasonic flow meters, the China Petroleum and Petrochemical Engineering Research Institute (CPPE) has decided to establish the Ultrasonic Flow Meter Engineering Technology Center, relying on MEZOLEN. This center aims to serve as a platform for communication and cooperation between the supply and demand sides of ultrasonic flow meters, and to promote the progress and development of ultrasonic flow meters in China.
The Engineering Technology Center will operate under the guidance and supervision of the CPPE’s Petroleum and Chemical Equipment Professional Committee, with Ms. Yang Di appointed as the center’s director.
On July 7, 2023, the CPPE held the official inauguration ceremony for MEZOLEN, where Mr. Wang Yingbin, Chairman of the CPPE, Standing Committee Member of the Qingdao CPPCC, and Adviser to Qingdao's Chemical Industry, delivered a speech. He acknowledged MEZOLEN’s contributions to the industry and expressed hopes for the company’s continued growth.
Mr. Ding Wu, Secretary-General of the CPPE Petroleum and Chemical Equipment Professional Committee, also gave a speech and presented the plaque to MEZOLEN.
Key Tasks of the Center:
Develop advanced ultrasonic flow technologies and products suitable for the petroleum and chemical industries.
Organize and establish a series of standards for ultrasonic flow meters in the petroleum and chemical sectors.
Provide technical services for the rapid development of ultrasonic flow meters in the petroleum and chemical industries.
Invite industry engineers and technicians to collaborate on the center's R&D, and develop a technology-sharing platform for progress.
Offer specialized technical exchanges, consultations, and custom services such as technical projects and PR.
Undertake other tasks assigned by the CPPE Petroleum and Chemical Equipment Professional Committee.
