Ultrasonic flow meters have been widely applied across various industrial measurement fields. MEZOLEN’s ultrasonic flow meters have garnered widespread praise from users for their precision, adaptability, reliability, and advanced intelligence. By integrating proprietary technologies such as self-diagnostics, self-calibration, advanced compensation algorithms, and data analysis, MEZOLEN addresses common issues found in existing market products, such as excessive components, complex operation, and low accuracy.
To further tackle challenges like the cumbersome installation and wiring associated with insertion-type and inline flow meters, the MEZOLEN team developed the 5030 series of clamp-on portable ultrasonic flow meters. Compact and elegant, these devices are pocket-sized with lightweight, portable sensors. They come with a pre-sales app for operation instructions and expert guidance from our after-sales team during on-site installation.
When holding the palm-sized MP5030BL main unit, we envisioned a broader, more convenient application for ultrasonic flow meters that simplifies installation and operation. Like a portable tool, it can be carried to the site, quickly installed, and used for real-time measurements. This led to the creation of our SMART UFO.
This ultrasonic flow meter adopts a minimalist industrial design, with a low-saturation white body that exudes a timeless technological aesthetic and visually stands out from the typical industrial site colors. A transparent side window provides a direct view of the internal sensor’s motion, while the top features indicator lights for different functional modules. These lights are integrated with a dynamic sensor operation algorithm, displaying the device’s status in real time.
Structurally, we chose a design that integrates the sensor and clamp into a single unit. Using electromagnetic adhesion, we eliminated traditional strap-based clamps, allowing the device to automatically align with the pipe without manual installation. A high-frequency motor paired with high-precision distance detection and closed-loop control enables one-button position calibration and precise automatic distance adjustment. A flexible pressing mechanism ensures full contact between the sensor and the pipe. This design saves time, labor, and space while achieving accurate sensor measurements.
By naming it the SMART flow meter, we committed to integrating AI technology. In addition to being highly automated and easy to operate, it features automatic flow data recognition and intelligent algorithm-based flow measurement, allowing for seamless monitoring anytime, anywhere.
The app interface follows the Material Design View style and is developed using native language with modular integrated development. It supports the latest Android 14 system and offers both wireless and wired connectivity to meet diverse customer needs.
