The 64th National Pharmaceutical Machinery Expo and the 2024 (Spring) China International Pharmaceutical Machinery Expo were held from May 20-22, 2024, at the Zhongtie Qingdao World Expo City, organized by the China Pharmaceutical Equipment Industry Association and hosted by Hainan Jingboxin Exhibition Co., Ltd. and Beijing Jingboxin Exhibition Co., Ltd. The event brought together tens of thousands of pharmaceutical industry professionals in Qingdao to discuss and plan the path for industry upgrades and development.
Ultrasonic flow meters play a crucial role in the pharmaceutical industry, becoming indispensable tools in the measurement of flow during drug production and delivery. The operating principle of ultrasonic flow sensors involves emitting and receiving ultrasonic waves. By measuring the changes in the time it takes for the waves to travel through the fluid, these sensors calculate the flow rate and volume.
Unlike traditional mechanical flow meters, ultrasonic flow sensors offer true non-contact measurement. These sensors do not need to be inserted into the fluid, have no moving parts, are compact, easy to clean, and fully meet the requirements for single-use bioreactors. This makes them ideal for flow measurement across various pipelines and units of single-use bioreactors, such as inlet pipes, outlet pipes, filtration systems, and feed tanks, providing comprehensive monitoring of the entire system's flow.
